Uruguay is a small South American country, whose main wealth is its vocation
for peace, its libertarian drive and commitment to democracy that have
been nurtured and developed generation after generation. It is a country
that traditionally receives travellers with the natural charm of its landscapes
and people.
Visitors from the whole world come looking for the beauty
of its scenery and the warmth of the Uruguayans, which are distinctive
characteristics of this country.
Our country is proud to host the 33rd Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting
(ATCM)
and wishes to invite representatives of the Consultative Parties, non-Consultative
Parties, Observers and invited Experts, to the meeting to be held in Punta
del Este, Uruguay from 3rd to 14th May 2010 at the Conrad
Hotel.
